When DHA is applied to the skin; a brown “tan” forms in about 2 to 3 minutes. The tan continues to darken for approximately 6 hours. The result can be a quite pleasing dark tan. The tan is absolutely water-resistant and diminishes only as the dead skin cells flake off – usually in 4-5 days.  Spray on tan or “airbrush tanning” is a great alternative to traditional tanning and does no damage to the skin.  It’s perfect for any occasion whether you’re getting married, going to an event, or just going out on the town.  At R Salon and Spa all of our Myrtle Beach tanning technicians undergo extensive training to shape and contour your figure, making your tan personalized and defined just for you.  It only takes a few minutes and the results are immediate.
